Irritable Bowel Syndrome ( IBS) is a very common digestive disorder that plagues innumerable people around the world. Scientific research has linked it to stress and worry but as yet the exact cause of the disease is unknown.
Stress and anxiet, infections diarrhoea, excessive consumption of alcohol, caffeine or carbonated beverages and continued intolerance to lactose or gluten are often responsible for causing IBS.

1. Fresh fruits and vegetables as well as fruit juices should be consumed to reduce the amount on inflammation in the lining of the stomach. 2. Avoid consumption of caffeine, alcohol and carbonated beverages. 3. If gas is a problem for you, you might want to avoid foods that tend to make gas worse including beans, cabbage and citrus fruits. 4. Drink ginger tea or chew raw ginger ti to reduce inflammation caused by IBS. 5. Prepare tea by boiling one teaspoon of flaxseed in a cup of water. Drink it at night. 6. Take one spoon of isabgolbwith half cup of fresh yogurt after dinner.
